Will the comments sound generic?
No. You give the grade and the outcome, and the tool gives you a meaningful starting point. From there, your human lens does the rest. A quick edit makes each comment sound like you and reflect the real child in front of you.
What curriculum is it aligned to?
Comments are mapped to the current NSW NESA syllabus outcomes, with the outcome text built in, so you are always reporting against the right descriptors. It is also growing. We are adding the AC9 Australian Curriculum now, and Victoria and Queensland are being pulled in based on teacher requests. Watch this space.
Is it suitable for early career teachers?
Yes. It was built with new teachers in mind. Report writing is one of those things nobody really walks you through at uni, and then suddenly you are doing sixty of them with a deadline. ReportReady gives you the language and the structure so you feel confident, not overwhelmed. Because you edit everything with your own lens, you are learning what good reporting looks like as you go.
Is my information safe?
Yes. You only ever enter a child’s first name, nothing more. Once you have generated your comment, the tool resets and we do not store any of the data. Save your work as you go, copy it into a document, or download it once you are done. We built it this way to protect you and your students.
