Does This Sound Like You?

Two big problems.
One membership.

ReportReady and ParentBridge were built for the two things that quietly drain teachers the most in Term 2.

ReportReady Report writing
The blank page problem

You know what you want to say. Finding the right language takes longer than writing the whole report should.

Syllabus overwhelm

Which outcome? Which descriptor? Dense curriculum documents and no one walked you through how to write to them.

Time you can't afford

Reports eat into evenings and weekends. You're already carrying everything else in Term 2.

ParentBridge Parent communication
The message you keep rewriting

You know what you want to say but finding the right tone takes longer than it should. Professional, warm and clear, all at once.

The conversation nobody taught you

Difficult parent meetings, complaints, concerns. No one walked you through how to handle these. You've been figuring it out alone.

Every family is different

The same message lands differently depending on the parent. Adapting your communication is a skill no one explicitly teaches.

What Becomes Possible

Imagine finishing Term 2
feeling calm.

When the invisible load lifts from two directions at once, everything shifts.

ReportReady What changes
Your Sundays back

Reports done in a fraction of the time, without the dread that used to follow you all weekend.

Confidence in every comment

You know the language is right, the structure is correct, and the outcomes are covered.

A mentor in your pocket

For newer teachers especially, understanding what good report language looks like and why.

ParentBridge What changes
Confidence in every conversation

You walk into parent meetings prepared, clear on what to say, and ready for whatever direction it takes.

Professional tone, every time

Messages that are clear, warm and appropriate, without the hour of drafting and second-guessing.

Finally, a framework

The guidance you were never given at uni. How to approach the conversations that used to keep you up at night.

Tool 1 - ReportReady

ReportReady.
Reports made clear.

Report writing is one of the most time-consuming and cognitively draining tasks of the teaching year. ReportReady takes the blank page, the syllabus overwhelm and the repetitive rewording away - so you can focus on the students, not the language.

The blank page problem

You know exactly how your student is performing. Getting that into clear, syllabus-aligned language still takes hours. ReportReady gives you a strong starting point in seconds.

NSW syllabus, already mapped

Every outcome is pre-mapped. No more navigating dense curriculum documents or second-guessing which descriptor applies. It's already built in.

Multiple variations, instantly

Generate as many variations as you need until the comment sounds exactly like you. Then edit. You're refining, not starting from scratch.

ReportReady is Tool 1 inside the Term Talk Hub membership.

Tool 1 - Why ReportReady

Not another PDF.
A tool that actually grows with you.

You've probably bought the quick-fix before. A beautifully formatted PDF full of report comment templates. You used it once, maybe twice, and then report season changed, or your class did, and it wasn't quite right anymore.

The PDF pack
  • A one-time download. Static, done, finished.
  • Same comments every term, regardless of your students
  • Not updated when the syllabus changes
  • Built for a generic class, not yours
  • You still start from scratch when it doesn't quite fit
  • Good money spent at the most stressful time of year. Once.
ReportReady
  • Ongoing membership, constantly updated, never static
  • Hundreds of comment variations across grades and outcomes
  • Aligned to the syllabus and updated as it changes
  • A clear 5-question scaffold walks you through it every time
  • Gives you multiple variations, you choose what fits
  • Add as much or as little detail as you like and it will still generate a usable comment
  • Edit after to make it sound like you
  • Gets better every term as new tools are added
How the scaffold works

Five questions. One clear comment. Multiple variations.

ReportReady guides you through five simple questions about the student: grade, outcome, context, strengths, areas for growth. Answer as much or as little as you like. It generates a comment, then gives you variations so you can choose the one that sounds most like you. Then you edit. You're not starting from scratch. You're refining something already aligned to the syllabus and your student's actual grade.

Built with the detail
teachers actually need.

Every comment follows the structure teachers are expected to use. The details are already built in. You don't have to think about them.

Comment structure built in

Every comment follows the correct three-part structure automatically.

  • Positive achievement
  • Effort and participation
  • Area for improvement, with how to improve

Smart name and pronoun flow

Comments automatically alternate so the writing feels natural and non-repetitive.

  • Name → Pronoun → Name → Pronoun
  • No awkward repetition
  • Reads like a human wrote it

Endless variations

Generate as many times as you need until the comment sounds exactly like you.

  • Multiple regenerations per student
  • Different each time, never the same twice
  • Edit after to add your voice

'This is insane! How has no one thought of this before. What a life and time changer.'

ParentBridge.
Communication made clear.

Parent communication is one of the most emotionally loaded parts of teaching. ParentBridge gives you the videos, resources and tools to handle it with confidence, from everyday updates to the conversations you've been dreading.

The message you keep rewriting

You know what you want to say but finding the right tone takes longer than it should. Professional, warm, clear, all at once.

The conversation nobody taught you

Difficult parent meetings, complaints, concerns. No one walked you through how to handle these at uni. You've been figuring it out alone.

Every family is different

The same message lands differently depending on the parent. Knowing how to adapt your communication is a skill, and it takes time to build.

Key Term 2 Situations Covered
Parent-teacher interviews

How to prepare, what to cover, and how to handle any direction the conversation takes. Essential for Term 2.

Parent phone calls

Scripts and frameworks for making and receiving parent calls - including the unexpected ones that catch you off guard.

Planning for meetings

What to prepare before any parent meeting - documentation, talking points, and how to set the right tone from the start.

Following up after meetings

How to document what was discussed, follow up with parents professionally, and keep a clear record of actions agreed.

Awareness before any meeting

The checklist every teacher needs before walking into a parent conversation - what to review, what to bring, what to anticipate.

Difficult conversations

Guidance for the conversations that don't have an easy script - concerns about learning, behaviour, and family sensitivities.

The Invisible Work

The cognitive load is full.
Before you even open a report.

In Term 2, teachers don't just write reports. They carry everything else at the same time.

The planning. The marking. The editing. The behaviour management. The parent–teacher interviews. The classroom organisation. The admin. The school events, assemblies, playground duties. The impromptu meetings. The staff meetings that have nothing to do with what you actually need to get done this term.

And then report writing.

Teachers often dedicate so little time to reports, not because they don't care, but because they're already running at capacity. ReportReady removes the part that was eating your time so you can use that time to refine, personalise, and actually think about each student. Not start from scratch.

"As a teacher I've put so many small details into this tool: things I found hard, things I wished I had been told, things I had to figure out alone. I'm so excited for you to feel the calm and get your precious time back."

About Nicola

I built this because no one built it for me.

I'm a primary educator, learning designer, and creator of the Term Talk podcast. I've spent a decade working across classrooms, leadership roles, and system-level spaces, and noticing all the things we're simply expected to figure out alone.

Report writing was one of them. Nobody showed me what good comment language looked like. Nobody explained how to write to outcomes clearly. I figured it out. It cost me more Sunday afternoons than I can count.

ReportReady is what I wished existed. A calm, practical tool that removes the invisible load so you can focus on what you actually care about: your students.

  • Host of Term Talk Podcast
  • Primary Educator and Learning Designer
  • Digital Enablement Specialist, 40+ schools supported
  • 10+ years across classrooms, leadership and system-level roles
  • Canva Education Expert

This is not motivation. It is mentorship.

Questions

You might be wondering…

What curriculum is it aligned to?

ReportReady is designed for Australian primary school teachers and aligned to NSW syllabus outcomes. More states and year levels are being added based on member feedback.

Will the comments sound generic?

The prompts are built to take out the cognitive load, not replace your professional judgment. Every comment comes out clear, professional and outcome-aligned. Then you read it through your critical lens, add the detail that makes it specific to your student, and make it sound like you. Think of it as the scaffold, the guidance and the starting point. No blank page. No starting from scratch when your cognitive load is already full.

How long is the founding member rate available?

The founding rate of $10/month or $100/year is available in May 2026 only. After May the price goes up. If you join in May, your rate is locked in forever - it will not increase as long as you stay subscribed, even as new tools are added to the Hub.

Is this suitable for early career teachers?

Absolutely. It was designed with new teachers in mind, giving you the language, confidence, and understanding of outcomes that nobody walked you through at uni.

What about secondary teachers?

Coming soon. Secondary resources are in development and we would love your input on what would be most useful. Send any requests or feedback to support@termtalk.com.au

What's the difference between the free account and the membership?

Your free account at hub.termtalk.com.au gives you instant access to all ReliableResources - the downloadable templates, planners and tools that go alongside every Term Talk episode. The membership unlocks ReportReady and ParentBridge on top of that, plus the weekly live webinar sessions.
